Location
The conference will be held at the Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel, located on the River Walk at 200 S Alamo Street in San Antonio. The hotel has extended a room rate of $239 (single or double) through February 8. Discounted valet parking is available for $44 plus tax per night. Self-parking is not available at the hotel.

Overflow Hotel (0.2 miles/5 minute walk to the Hilton Palacio del Rio)
The Historic Menger Hotel sits between the Rivercenter Mall and The Alamo and has extended a room rate of $189 (single/double). To reserve rooms online visit Menger Reservations or call 800-345-9285 and refer to TML Midyear Conference room block. Valet parking is available for $25.00 plus tax per night.

Registration Fees

TMLI Preconference (Wednesday only) – $75
Your registration fee includes Wednesday sessions and preconference reception only. The fee increases to $95 after February 8.

TML Midyear Conference (Thursday and Friday only) – $235
Your registration fee includes Thursday and Friday only. It includes continental breakfast on Thursday and Friday, scheduled refreshment breaks, and online access to handouts. Lunch is on your own. The fee increases to $255 after February 8.

TML Midyear Conference Associate/Non-Member Rate (Thursday and Friday only) – $355
Your registration fee includes Thursday and Friday only. It includes continental breakfast on Thursday and Friday, scheduled refreshment breaks, and online access to handouts. Lunch is on your own. The fee increases to $375 after February 8.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee per person will be assessed if written cancellation is emailed to cheryl@tml.org by February 8. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Please note that no refunds will be honored after February 8. Transfers to other events is not permitted. Substitutions are always accepted.

Name Badges and Handouts
Name badges will be available for pickup onsite. Only registered attendees will receive a name badge and they must be worn at all times. Online access to handouts will be provided at least one week prior to the event. All correspondence will be sent to the email used on the registration.

Texas Municipal League Institute (TMLI)
Elected officials can earn Texas Municipal League Institute (TMLI) credit by attending the Elected Officials’ Conference. CEU forms will be available onsite. For more information on the TMLI program, visit About TMLI, or contact us at tmli@tml.org.

Are There Prerequisites?
No prerequisites are required to attend the TML Midyear Conference.

Dress Code
Dress casually and comfortably. We recommend that you dress in layers for your comfort as meeting room temperatures tend to fluctuate.
